Your Liberty welcome kit

Don't baby them.
Test them.

Your kit is built in-house with premade Liberty PVC and leatherette patches. Try the materials, check the detail, and see how they fit your shop before your next custom order.

PVC

Look closely at raised detail, color separation, flexibility, and the finished edges.

Pick one PVC sample and a test blank that represents the jobs your shop produces. Keep another patch unpressed for a side-by-side comparison.

Follow the application instructions supplied with your kit. Missing them? Contact Liberty with your patch material, press model, and hat or apparel details before pressing.

Your test. Your shop.

A proper first test.

Use a sample blank and document your setup. Change one variable at a time so you can repeat the result.

  1. Inspect it first.

Compare the material, edge finish, artwork detail, and adhesive backing before application. Take a photo so you have a reference.

  2. Set up a representative blank.

Choose a sample hat or garment similar to your customer jobs. Check that the blank is suitable for the application method. Follow the kit instructions and your equipment guidance.

  3. Press with the supplied instructions.

Use the instructions for the specific patch material and adhesive in your kit. Record the press, temperature, time, and pressure. Ask us first if those instructions are missing or unclear.

  4. Let it finish, then evaluate.

Follow the cooling and cure instructions before checking the bond or putting the piece into use. Inspect the edges and overall finish. Document what you observe without assuming every blank behaves the same.

  5. Try the job your shop actually sells.

Evaluate the finished sample under the conditions relevant to your customer. Follow the care directions for the patch and blank. Keep notes so you can repeat a successful setup.

  6. Tell us what you are making.

If anything needs attention, send your setup notes, patch material, blank details, and photos. Ready for your own logo? Build your first custom patch order.

Keep the details that matter.

Save these notes with photos of the finished piece. If something is off, send them to Liberty so we can help you troubleshoot.
